Contentment!

When you are at Hotel Pai at Anandrao circle, Bangalore, you can't miss out on two things. The Jawar Roti meals and this old lady in the video who works there. We have been seeing her for so many years now that I could not resist but have a word with this 'Amma', which I always wanted to do. Speaking to her, you know at her age any normal working being would have retired a decade back. She has a son who does not stay with her. I am not quite sure if I heard it right, blame my poor Kannada, she said she also has a mother to look after. That means leading almost a lonely life with no certainty of what future lies ahead of her. But all these things are not big enough to take away her smile from her. She seems content. People like these are living example for many of us who get depressed over not having enough things to lead a happy life. I would have spoken to her more had I not got a bus to catch. Nevertheless there are more journies to come and we will see her as always. Solid like a rock and ever smiling. #JoyOfGiving
